'The Eagle has Flown' is a book that catches your attention from the first page and holds it til the last. Higgins characters are easy to relate to and sympathize with, though they are on what many would consider the "wrong" side of the war. You find yourself cheering for a successful mission, and crying when things go wrong. This is a story that I would recomend for anyone to read, even those normally opposed to this sort of genre.
