I've read several books on Hugh Glass. The one I liked the best was Lord Grizzly, but this book is right up there - it's very good reading. I realize it's a novel, but I think they could have done more with the historical facts. But I still would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in that time period, and in Hugh Glass.
