This is the continuation of the story begun in To Die For. Life continues for Blair Elizabeth Malory and her policeman love. Now engaged to Wyatt, Blair's life continues to be interesting, as she is nearly run down in a parking lot at the mall after she begins shopping for her wedding - which is to take place in 30 days. The fireworks include anonymous phone calls, a fire, and Blair being held at gunpoint, as she tries to reconcile a couple of friends, plan her wedding by the deadline, decide whether or not she and her fiance SHOULD marry and find out who's trying to kill her THIS time.
It is wonderful.

Will she live this time?
The original storyline not contained and needed a sequel. This is a justifiable second to the first ("To Die For). Still bratty and high maintenance the heroine has a harder time convincing her hero of her peril. Fast read that tells a full story while bringing in original story fits. Not as sturdy as some of Howard's reads, but worth a look to find out how this love story ends. It is fitting that the danger lies with the hero and allows one to know that the hero's in the stories are not only there to serve and protect their loves; but also they are unforgettable in their own right by those who have loved them. I like the idea that not only women are unforgetable - but the men as well. He was worth it in the first and it seems that his past love feels the same. Nice finish to the original - the high maintenance gal needs to work hard for her man in this story and prove that he is worth it to her instead of just being "taken" by the hero.

Suburban Killer Thriller
I don't generally relate to Southern belle beauty-queen types, but Blair is an exception. I must not be alone because this book triggered a sequel in TO DIE FOR. Can't go too much into the plot or I will spoil it for you, but it does include a really hot detective soon to be fiance.
