Excellent reading of the Suquamish Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle. Circa 1875. Cassie Edwards is right-on about the history of the Indians she writes about in every one of her books. This story was like all of her Native American books; the history of the Suquamish and their ways of living/surviving, sometimes very sad, but true, and there's always the romance, which is probably not logical back in those days, but makes reading her books a pleasure.
