Physical quality of book is very good, well worth the money (Renaissance leather edition). Not a fan of the NIV, however that is the only translation availible.
Material content is very informative for a new student of the Bible as well as bringing an older student up to date on new finds in manuscripts and archaeological material.
Would recommend for someone desiring to better understand the cultural and historical background of biblical studies.

It is a beautiful Bible
This is a Bible that looks like a piece of art. The pictures and historical features make you want to read it and find out more. I'm very glad I got it. My teenage daughter wants to look at it because the way it connects the Bible events with what was happening in world history at the time. It is very easy to look at and read. A great buy for me!
