Excellent book for middle school students who are studying the Holocaust. The story takes an average modern day teen, and places her in a WWII concentration camp. The reader is able to experience the painstaking and horrific events through the protagonists eyes. Any person, young or old, who feels compassion will enjoy this novel for young adults.
