I bought this volume for one of my Granddaughters. She is overjoyed with it, although I must admit it is not my type of book. Still, she is happy so I am happy.

Excellent book
As much as I enjoyed The Mortal Instruments series (and I really liked them), I think The Infernal Devices series (only two books so far) is even better. Not that I'm an expert in Victorian England, but I thought the prose/dialogue was accurate, as well as the descriptions of London of that era. I can't wait for the third book.
