I was very disappointed in this. I chose to read this because I enjoyed " The Hous on Tradd Street", and also because the story line sounded intriguing. Piper Mills is trying to find answers to a mystery surrounding her Grandmother, whom she mostly ignored and took for granted, until afte her death when she is faced with several questions. What is the meaning of the hidden room found in the attic, and parts of a scrapbook buried in a box in the garden, etc. This seemed to have all the elements of a great story, but the telling is pretty flat. It was just too sappy for me, and all the characters seemed to sound too much the same (and too Oprah-ish). I quit half way through.
