He eon demn'd the Meafures of the finer la/t Tears of Queen Anne 3 and He, a firtiori, condemns your Meafures, for the la/i ten Tears, upon the fame Principles of Reafoning; for whatever Mifearriages, or even Misdemeanors may be juf'tly charged upon thofe Times, You, Sir, are the lafi Perfon in the Kingdom, who ought to reproach the [mini/tors with them, fince your own Conduct is an ample Apology for them. 'vvith what Defign then are thefe Things mentioned? What pafs'd fo many Years ago cannot be recalled 5 and if any Thing was done amifs, the only Ufe of reviving thofe Tranfaetions, is to avoid the fame Errors in our prefent Conduct.
