It is to these ultimate, elemental actions Of the matters comprising the body, that we are always to look for the causes of ill health, and it is to these to which all means Of correction, that is, remedial measures of whatever nature, are to be addressed. If we study these minute interior actions upon which life in all its modifications depends, we find two distinct phases of activity, with their corresponding results.
