Ils venaient expirer sur le seuil de leurs demeures en criant j'ai faim. Beaucoup se donnaient la mort pour �viter ce sort affreux; les m�res �touffaient leurs eulaus. Nous ne redirons pas ces horreurs! Jamais plus �pouvantables cri mes ne furent commis; et en lisant ces sanglantes annales, on est tent� de faire r�paration aux Nerons et aux Domi tiens.
