The Author has taken all these changes into considera tion, and has endeavoured to improve the book, and to render it as useful as possible. For this reason he has rewritten the pages treating of Chinese currency and arbitrage in bars. There is not much in the way of arbitrage in options which are nonetheless covered in about seven pages in the last portion of the book. However, the author made interesting references to Tate's Modern cambist and Haupt's Arbitrage et parité. It was all in all a good look into what was taking place in the currency market in those days.
