These are Abgar's words: "...he made us know that which would be revealed at the end of times, and in the demise of all creatures." The Gospel of Abgar, which may date to as early as 33 AD, may be older than the canonical books of the New Testament. This makes it extremely valuable for Biblical scholarship, especially since it may also contain the first historically attested mandylion (portrait of Christ) ever. This is a book that is meant to become one of the required readings of the 21st century, and not only.
