I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into picking this book up. With few exceptions I read it straight through and have suggested it to a few authors already. I see it as a book that teaches as well as entertains. Its not all lollipops and roses. It is an amazing book talking about plotlines and how they spin and change and even teach the reader!
A teacher hears a sketchy idea from an arrogant student. It never lets him go. His version makes the whirlwind summit of recognition. Then he gets threatened by another person, and in a world of Oprah endorsements tries to brush it off. Im sorry I cant go deeper without spoilers. However, this is a tight well written mystery with potential to be a great holiday gift! Highly Recommended 5/5

Loved it!
I was so excited to win an early review copy of The Plot from BookishFirst. I was crossing my fingers so hard that I would win! As soon as I receive the book I drove right in. I knew I would enjoy it but I didnÃ?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢t think I would have enjoyed it THIS much. I already am a huge fan of books that have to do with books, bookstores, booklovers, etc.. but this story took it to a whole new level. The story revolves around a college professor/failed novelist who has a student with a VERY good idea for a book.. possibly one of the BEST ideas to come across his desk in a long, long time. As a reader you are taken on a thrilling journey of the twist and turns of the publishing world, ownership and copyright. What does it mean to be successful? The suspense around the Ã?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦"theftÃ?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â??Ã?Â? of a story idea had me up into the wee hours of the morning. BUY THIS BOOK! You will NOT regret it.
