The usual layout for these types of books. I was going to buy a guitar and needed some advice on what to look for . These are great one place sources for information on subjects of your choice. This is the older version but came with the CD companion. A cheap and efficient way to get informed on guitars and guitar playing. But still need to practice :-)

Beware
Be very careful that you are getting the book, "Guitar for Dummies" and not "Guitar for Dummies (Chord Chart) "which contains only 4 pages of information. They were both listed together when I did a search for "Guitar for Dummies". I was very surprised when I received "Guitar for Dummies (Chord Chart)" when I was expecting the actual book....
