What a fun book! So witty; so deep. I love Trish Perry's "voice". Her characters are flawed and insecure. They do embarrassing things. They mess up, and they learn. And the leading man, Kendall James? Mercy!
Steph has left everything and everyone to elope with Rick, who then deserts her. She decides to stay in the small town to recover and regroup. She takes a temporary job in a Tea Shop and proceeds to meet Kendall James. Slowly she learns that many of her impulsive decisions were based on her need of acceptance. She already has acceptance in Christ.
Loved this book. Sad to see it end. It's one of the Tea Shop series books. I plan to read Tea for Two, next.
