Dedicating to research from 1980 on, he specialized in the unconscious psychological damage caused by sexual mutilation, particularly circumcision. He found out that excision is only the tip of the iceberg of sexual mutilation and that circumcision is likely to generate dramatic violence, particularly against women. This prompted him to consider its historical and religious dimensions about which he made several discoveries during seventeen years of writing. The chapter "Medicine and circumcision" of his book "Female and male genital mutilation, the greatest crime against humanity" was cited in a medical thesis.
