Linear Algebra and Geometry, 2nd ed, by N H Kuiper
This very carefully written and illustrated book gives a clear presentation of linear algebra while achieving the author's aim "to preserve the aesthetically satisfying geometrical flavour of the subject." We find the usual algebraic aspects of linear algebra motivated and illustrated by careful presentations of closely related geometric ideas, such as motions of euclidean space, finite affine planes, and projective and hyperbolic geometry. Applications in statistics are considered as well.
