This inaugural issue includes stories by and with Tim & Eric, Lesley Arfin, John Ashbery, Arthur Bradford, Bill Callahan, Frederick Exley, Johanna Fateman, Rivka Galchen, Christy Karacas, Paul Maliszewski, Sam McPheeters, Chelsea Peretti, Gwendoline Riley, Aurel Schmidt, Ian Svenonius, Gus Visco, Jamieson Webster and more; plus photographs by Jimmy de Sana, Roe Ethridge, Jerry Hsu, Ryan McGinley and Terry Richardson, among others. Jesse Pearson was the editor-in-chief of Vice magazine for eight years (from 2002-2010). Prior to that, he was an editor at index magazine. He has curated art shows in New York, Melbourne and Tokyo; conceived, produced and directed numerous internet television series ( Soft Focus , Shot By Kern , Art Talk! , Americana ); and edited numerous books (including Catholic: Cats ; The Vice Photo Book ; News, Nudity, and Nonsense: The Best of Vice ).
