As the new owner of a young Boston Terrier I am finding Dogs Deserve Dialogue...most helpful. Not only am I learning the whys and hows of dog behavior, but how to communicate with this dog and to understand her attempted communications with me. The recommended excersizes do work, the secret is persistence. No training book will do the work for you. You and your dog have to work it out on a daily basis...and it is work, but very very rewarding work. Just follow the instructions.
