Those of us who had the good fortune to have witnessed this interesting era in civil aviation will remember with great fondness those United Jet Mailiners, Eastern Golden Falcon Jets, and Delta and American Airlines Flagships and Astrojets.
The photos are generally of good quality and well reproduced. The short captions are entertaining, even if they do not have a great deal of substance. What makes this book worth the money is that it offers a seldom seen glimpse to the late 1950s and early 1960s, one rarely seen in such a high-quality format.
