Signed by Illustrator(s) Full-page color plates & B&W block prints of Waterloo County landscapes by the Russian Mennonite artist (1909-2002) who immigrated from the Ukraine in 1924 to Waterloo, Ontario. Neufeld moved to the United States in 1935 where he died at age 93 but continue to paint Waterloo & Canadian landscapes all his life. Introduction by Paul & Hilde Tiessen, Waterloo academics who co-authored, in 2010, a biography / retrospective on the artist entitled "Woldemar Neufeld's Canada: A Mennonite Artist in the Canadian Landscape 1925-1995". Limited Edition. Oblong 8vo (9 1/4" x 12 3/8"), golden cloth boards with blind, impressed lettering on spine & front. The clean, black, illustrated dust jacket has minor rubbing & a 1" tear & crease close to upper spine. Due to size & weight, extra shipping WILL be required.
