This author's name means "BEE" and he comes from a long line of beekeepers. He give valuable insights on the behavior of bees, and experiences from a lifetime of practical application. His total income for his lifetime was from beekeeping, so he knows his subject. He also includes facinating stories that are fun and easy to read they fillup about half the book and would make excelent bedtime stories for children. The practical advice alone is what I was seeking and it is EXCELENT.

A Beekeeper Classic!
This book was written by the man who set the world record for the most honey from one hive in one year. He was a 3rd generation beekeeper and lived well into his 90's, sharing his may years of experience through this book. A "must have" for those interested in the history of California beekeeping.
