This is Stark's account (she had written two earlier volumes of account) of her most extraordinary journey to and through the Hadhramaut in Southern Arabia in 1935. The dustjacket is much worn, torn, scuffed, marked by storage and handling, all about. It is intact and secure. The boards too have wear, sunning, marks from storage. However, they are also comfortable, steady, sure. Within, the frontispage has been removed. This caused some scarring to the front pastedown. The papertrims are foxed. The contents are vigorously thrilling. There are age-related marks, some foxing.
