This book is a perfect example of what was read to me as a child. In fact, I did read this a child. It does a great job of teaching children to use their imagination. I love this book and give it a 10!

Teddy Bear's Picnic revisited
This is a classic children's book with many "updates." This one by Jimmy Kennedy is still the best. Notice, his book uses "real" children dressed as bears whereas some of the new ones use bears as bears for the fun filled day at the picnic. I believe this changes the whole concept and the "story line" is not the same...stick with "Jimmy" for the real deal!
