Like lighthearted reading - this is for you
I first read James Robertson's "Any Fool Can Be A Countryman" years ago and vowed that if I ever came to UK again (I live in N.Z.) then I would find some more of his books. This one didn't let me down. He gives a lighthearted view of his efforts to become a pig farmer, concentrating on the humorous side and omitting all the boring details which must have accompanied this enterprise. His descriptions of characters makes them come to life, you almost feel that if you met them in the street you would know them.
For anyone who enjoys humorous writing this is a must.
