The Silver Chalice steps into the post-ressurection world with Basil who is commissioned to make a case for the chalice of the Last Supper of Christ. He is taken on quite the journey to make this case and all sorts of things break out along the way. It was nice that author Costain wrote in the disciples Peter and Paul into the novel which gave it the feeling of being non-fiction when indeed the novel is historical fiction. GREAT READ!
