Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. End sheets and paste downs toned. 8 pages have small dog ears where bumped. Title page carries the 1954 publication date. Pages are otherwise clean and very good. Dust jacket is tattered and chipped with tear along most of back spine panel edge but clean and bright. Publisher's price of $6.50 on DJ flap as called for on First Edition. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover.
