There is an eighth edition out to this book. If your course lecturer requests the eighth edition don't think that you can get away with purchasing this one. The eighth edition is substantially different with new chapters and added information within the chapters. I don't know why anyone would even bother with buying this edition now, unless they just want to read for fun!

Poor textbook
Very difificult to read book. It was purchased as a textbook for the class. I would not reccomend this book to anyone there are much better social psychology books with better explanation and more intereting to read/learn.
