I chose this book due to a recommendation from a Special Ed teacher I work with. I read the book for an Exceptional Learner course and I'm so glad that I did! It's one of the most powerful and touching stories I've ever read, and it really struck a cord with me. You will go through so many emotions while reading it. I made me so happy to be a teacher, and will help me to see what could be happening in a troubled child's life outside of school. Please buy this book!!
