This first book of the "Enchanted Forest Chronicles" is quite delightful. (As is the entire series) My entire family, including my grandchildren, have read these and enjoyed them.

A Princess with a Brain!
I've loved to read since fifth grade, and I'm always on the lookout for a great new series to sink into. I also love sharing my favorite books from when I was younger with my nieces and nephews.
Princess Cimorene isn't a useless princess, she knows what she wants, and she goes for it. Dragons, monsters, wizards, and dangerous caves and forests are no match for her and she won't let any chivalrous, air-headed princes get in her way. I can just keep coming back for more; I discover something new each time I read them.

A New Twist on Fairytales
This clever book pokes sly fun at conventional fairytales in witty and intriguing ways. The characters are enjoyable, the plot is excellent and the overall writing is superb. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something a little different.
