This book portrays with text & photos many of the Northern Cheyenne people, how they lived, what they believed & how they were related. These are a proud, smart, witty & nice people, some of whom I am related to. The lady with the youngster on her back is my great grandmother who, with her Englishman husband raised a large outstanding family.
Margot Liberty lives in my town & knows the Indians through her teaching on the reservation & interviewing many elders. Her mother Helen Huntington Smith has a frontier background as well. This book was done with taste & accuracy & for anyone interested in the west & Indians, it is a good choice.
My reviews are amateurish compared to most you receive, but that doesn't diminish my jest for reading good material & making comments on them, such as they are. I have an addiction for books!
Thank you for the service you provide
