Dear sirs: You are invited me to write a review of the book Guerrilla Warfare, from my countryman, Ernesto Guevara. Thank you for that.
It?s a short book, only 175 pages. Don?t hope to find here a great work of strategy or politics. Nor a handbook of tactics. It?s only a sort of aide-memoire for guerrilla fighters, with a handful of recommendations (how to ambush, how to attack an enemy camp, how not to waste ammo, how to build a first aid packet, etc.).
The political opinions delineated in this book, are, of course, very controversial.
Not hard to reed, in my opinion the principal value of this book is their author, the world wide known and leftwing icon, Ernesto ?Che? Guevara.
It is, anyhow, a classic in any library of war affairs.
