very up to date discussions of differetial diagnosis on each lab test. some simplistic but most not. good for professionals like md and rn as well as lay public. too much on care plain for simple blood tests, should have appendix for this. also the cover should indicate the professional degrees of the authors although in this case the book while geared to rn does work for md as well.

This book is great for careplans. It explains what the procedure is and how you need to prepare your patient pre-procedure,during and post procedure!
