Had me hooked from page one, well organized, easy-to-follow characters and local color and descriptions. Will begin other books by Hamilton soon! Thanks.

Frosty Beginning
This is an award winning first novel from Steve Hamilton. It introduces his reluctant hero, Alex McKnight, and is a great mystery showcased by the atmospheric north. A tragedy has caused McKnight to take refuge in a cold paradise, but it dosn't protect him from shady dealings that occur there. I loved this book and recommended it to my sister. Now we both fight over new Alex McKnight books.
