It is good to be back reading one of R.A.Salvatores great books...On this adventure Drizzt and friends are looking for one of there own..It shows what real friends will go through for someone they care about...As always there is lots of action going on. This time a lot of it on the open sea....Another very good story line....Well detailed discriptions of the sea and ships, it makes you feel as tho you are there rocking with the ship as the waves toss the boat around...Another thumbs up for Sea of Swords...If you decide to read this book grab your blanket and sea sick pills, if the sea doesn't get you the icey snow will...I love it when a story can put you right there in the middle........thank you

Early Winter
This story seems very generic to me. I was so very excited to have Drizzt back and his adventures, and this novel did not live up to my expectations. It is good to know that the five champions are reuniting themselves, and it does offer definate closure. The best surprise was finding out why the elf had such a desperate hatred toward Drizzt. To me, it is an "Early Winter", not "Sea of Swords".
