Fun at the Fair
It's been so long since I read a Hannah Swensen mystery that coming back to read this one was refreshing! I read a couple of the early ones very close together so that the storylines started seeming trite and predictable. Although I do have similar complaints about this book (especially the fact that Hannah STILL hasn't made her choice between Mike, Norman and Ross even though it's abundantly clear - to me at least - that Norman is the guy for her), I still enjoyed it and wrote off the predictability as a necessary evil that comes with it being "just a cozy mystery." Joanne's quirky sense of humor - especially when it comes to the many misuses of the English language - quite makes up for it.
