Tea for Two?
Everyone, at some time in their life, feels lonely. When Mr. Putter feels lonesome, he is experiencing a need common to all people, young or old. Children understand this. What is different and wonderful about Mr. Putter, is that he recognizes and acts on this need. He gets up and goes looking, even though it means going to some places where he is not especially comfortable. He makes an effort to find a friend, and that effort is wonderfully rewarded. I applaud Mr. Putter! He has reminded me that I have power to change my life: to make new friends.
