A lighthearted tale of life and folk in a small Canadian township. The author has one enchanted with his, often humourous (intentional or otherwise) portrayal of the eccentricities and habits of a cross-section of the population, no doubt gleaned from his own upbringing and experiences.
Certainly a good read.
