I have a 9-year old goddaughter who loves to read. It has been a challenge to find something wholesome for her that will hold her interest in this world of enticing secular books. This series, Girls Only by Beverly Lewis is the best I have seen and read yet. Each book is captivating and deals with issues girls really face. Only The Best is a great read about a girl who wants to become an Olympic gymnast. At the same time her family receives word that their dream of adopting a Korean baby boy comes true. The struggles Jenna faces are so true to life today. I highly recommend not only this book, Only The Best, but the others in this series Girls Only by Beverly Lewis. My goddaughter is reading these so fast I can hardly keep up with her. From a 9-year-old, "These are the best."
