I purchased this book for a gradaute Sociological Theroy class. I am very impressed. Reading sociological theory can be mind-numbing, but the editor has compiled many current writings which bring theory into the 21st century. The collections, along with contributions by the editor, elucidate soc. theory's relevance today. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in sociological theory.
