Read this book as part of a requirement for Anthropology 202. It was very easy to read and unlike other books for school, because it was interesting. I had to do a presentation on religion in Madagascar for this class and this book rarely if ever spoke of religion. Everything I found on line tied religion to culture and taboos. I wanted to know if culture, custom, and taboo was the same as religion in the case with this country, but I wanted a reliable source. I emailed this author, Professor Andrew Walsh, and he was gracious enough to email me back with an abundance of information that I was able to use in my presentation... Awesome! great book, awesome Author.
