Pezzelli has a knack for creating a picture with a few words. He is always kind to his characters, so you know they will resolve what seem to be insurmountable problems, but how? Lots of local color, family scenes, sly humor. PS I gave this book to all three of my sons to read, and also to a friend of Italian-American background.
