I love these Eyewitness Books because they give kids a quick synopsis of the subject matter. My kids had to do an "ABC Book" of the American Revolution and this book was very helpful.

Stunning and informative
An addition to DK's "Eyewitness" series, this book is a stunning visual guide to the events of the American Revolution. It's full of photos and illustrations, maps, time lines, and even a "Find Out More" section with websites and suggestions for places to visit. The book is of great interest to all who want to learn more about this period of American History, and it would be a great supplement for young readers (8-12 years of age) who are studying the subject in school. Even as an adult, I enjoyed the book a great deal. Very educational and very well done!
