This book was such a monumental read for me that I typed up notes afterwards, as kind of a "study guide" for applying his principles to my life. This book is must-read for anyone going through a tough time! I'm just sorry to say I don't own my copy any longer; I've already passed it on to someone else who needs it. It's that kind of book. I love this book...what a thoughtful way of approaching the difficult times in life-grief, depression, loss, etc emphasizing the spiritual while not ignoring the psychological.

Soul food
Dark Nights of the Soul by Thomas Moore is an excellent book. It is not preachy but helps one understand internal trauma of all sorts and avenues to healing. It can be picked up and almost opened anywhere and one will find something relevant to their personal circumstances, conclusion being we are all more alike than we know and face so many of the same situations in life. It really helps, even in the middle of the night when one can't clear their mind....
