Some of the routes are based on well-established cyclosportive events, which are the big objective of many thousands of recreational and keen cyclists. Classic Cycling Race Routes allows cyclists to do the routes at any time, and encourages them to take part in the events. For the classic races which don't have a dedicated cyclosportive route, the author has designed a route to reflect the demands and history of these races.
