In my opinion, this book is critical for everybody who experienced sex abuse, regardless whether it happened during your childhood, in adolescence or during adult years. I believe that the book will be a vital piece that helps to get over the memories, the fear of memories and the fear of the abuse ever happening again. The authors did a tremendous amount of work having processed hundreds of cases to extract the essence of healing practices and to derive the guidance offered in the book. The book is very painful to read but it feels like a surgery that promises recovery. It won't do all the work for you but if you read the book, 70% of your work will be done. All what you need is a firm resolution to free your life from the impact of the abuse and free your energy to enjoy the life in all its aspects...

all sexual abuse survivors should read this book!
My therapist recommended this book to me and i'm so glad that i read it. It helped to me to realize that i'm not alone. It taught me coping techniques. It also helped me to understand why I am the way i am. I have reread this book several times and never tire of reading it. This book quite possibly saved my life.

A Guide for Healing
This book was recommended by my daughter's therapist and it became her companion through a difficult and painful journey. I would encourage any woman to read it to learn about the effects of sexual abuse and the need for empowering woman. Excellent source of help.
