Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
This is a pretty great example of how not to write a book. Sellers prattles on about his young love of all things hip, and dedicates about 30 pages to fawning over GBV. Don't get me wrong, I love Robert Pollard as much as the next out-of-date indie kid, but it's a bit much. The writing is stiff and hackneyed, and I had to force myself to finish it, despite its laughably short length. The vacuous hipsters who might actually find this book interesting will be too busy scoffing at the title (yes, it's a Built to Spill reference) to ever pick it up.

Buzzards and Dreadful Books
This book is horrible. Even if your a Guided by Voices superfan this book still completely sucks.
Instead of telling the reader about certain bands, shows, or songs that made an impact on his musical hobby, author John Sellers tells about his pre-teen crush on Mtv. Then ends the book with his early thirties infatuation with "indie rock god" Robert Pollard from Guided by Voices.
There is nothing worse then an over-zealous "Fanboy/girl" that flips out about a certain talent, music or otherwise. If you are one of these types, I suggest writing your own book.
