great read
While pursuing his medical degree, Josh Spanogle found time to write two novels... this one and Flawless. Both are great reads, with a main character who has plenty of flaws, but doesn't take himself too seriously, and somehow makes us like him. Maybe its the core values that twinkle in between his sarcastic asides or self deprecatory insights. the plot keeps you hooked, and instead of going for the easy cliche, Spanogle suprizes us with his characters spin on life and situations. I am a published novelist, but wish I could write something as good as Isolation Ward.
