Eye-opening
There is a lot of interesting information here that you will not get from regular diet books.
Instead of a simple menu of what to eat, there is a lot of scientifically-backed theory explaining when to eat something, and why. If you have ever wondered, "Is my diet working?" or, "Why does this diet make me feel a certain way?"
This book has a lot to offer in that department.

The book looks good in the picture, but was yellowed and old looking. Pages all in tact, but a much older version than thought I was getting.

just like the Hay diet
I found some of it helpful but a bit extreme and difficult to keep to. Although it did suit a friend. i have my own health issues to think of.

Good common sense.
This book is pure no nonsense logic. If you are overweight, ill, or whatever, buy it. You will not regret it, beleive me!! It takes the lid off beleifs that we have held sacred for years, and exposes them for what they are, pure garbage. Milk? Kick it out of your life, and you are well on your way to a new life of health and fitness you would not beleive!! This is not a diet, this is a completely new way of life!!!! I have lost 2stone and a few pounds without even thinking about it, and no stupid callorie counting either, you just can not help but lose it. What can I tell you more?? Just buy the book. It is cheap enough. JUST DO IT!!!!
